Elliott & Wragg Ltd are a steel fabricating company offering a full range of nationwide site services from ‘turn key’ projects including civil and electrical work, to on-site steel fabricating, steel erection, coded welding, ASME IX, pipe work, cladding, roofing, high structure work, design and fabrication in mild or stainless steel, aluminium, also profiling, bending, machining and laser/water jet cutting. We have a workshop is based in Buxton, North Derbyshire, making us ideally located to service the Derbyshire, Manchester and Sheffield areas.

We were formed in 2000 by Ian Wragg and Steve Elliott, who between them have more than 60 years experience in working steelworks, quarries and cement works etc. Both directors are still actively involved in every project, and are available on a 24 hour basis.

We have an excellent safety record that has enabled us to procure work with large multinationals where safety is a key factor. A few examples of existing customers for whom we have worked for many years are Corus Steels, LaFarge UK Cement PLC, Tarmac, Forticrete, L Hoist UK and Danieli Davy Distington, all of whom have safety requirements of the strictest level.

Over several years we have invested heavily in education and training for both ourselves and our employees. Senior management hold Nebosh Certificates. All employees hold current “Passport to Safety” certification (which is our minimum requirement) and licenses for MEWP, fork trucks, manual handling, working at heights, confined spaces, first aid and fire awareness etc. All relevant documentation would be produced i.e. Method Statements/Risk Assessments and Crane Lifting Plans upon request.
